How Our Book Exchange Works: 

When you bring books in to exchange we will give you half of OUR sale price in BOOK CREDIT which you can use towards the purchase of other books.  

When book credit is used, a minimum of 35% of the sale will be paid in "cash" (or check or credit card); up to 65% of a total sale may be covered using your book credit. 

Books can always be purchased with or without credit.  You do not have to bring in books in order to buy books!


Book credit may be discounted due to the age and/or saleability, or condition of exchange books.  Book credit slips are good indefinitely, they never expire, are completely transferable, and can be used at all our locations.


Books purchased at McDonald's Book Exchange DO NOT carry a guarantee that they may be returned for credit.
(e.g. if you buy a book from us and proceed to drop it in the bath tub, let Rover use it as a chew toy, and tear out the pages to line your birdcage you may not receive credit upon trying to return said book; you may, however, receive sideways glances or wrinkled noses).
